Strong grasping feet with sharp talons 2. A hooked beak used to hunt prey and 3. A diet that consists entirely of meat! Do you know what raptors are commonly known as?

Happy Trail Tuesday! Today's hike is the Grotto Trail in Malibu! This fun 3-mile round trip hike has pretty mountainous views and leads to a small waterfall at the end! But please don't go hiking today with current air quality due to local fires.
Happy Monday! Mountain Lion of the Week is back with P-59 and P-60! These two young kittens were born in July 2017 and are the youngest recorded cougars in the mountains! P-53 is their mother and at 21 months, this makes her the youngest mom in the park.

It’s Thursday so that means it is time for the fun fact of the week! Did you know the woodrat is the most common rat species found in the park?
